about

☾ i first discovered rhetorical what loosely written on my desk in purple felt from a pen i have lingering on standby. i laughed as i felt an echo of that early morning three days before when the sun was rising and my eyes were thickening. rhetorical what [no matter how far a mind delves into a complexity, there will always be a question to ask] .. accept that there will never be an end to the quest and to enjoy the questions that will continue to arise... you can only learn...>> these were the more elegant ideas but were also part of the illusion i found interesting. rhetorical what had me laughing and thinking.

the feeling i got from these words inevitably inspired the package, the debut album. it gave me the confidence to embody my songs and give them a home beyond my macbook pro. i was then lucky to have certain people come into my life and help me push the concept to the next level.

rhetorical what is not a question, it's a statement or maybe a gesture that gives way for a philosophical understanding of pursuit. it began to teach me how to have peace with the unknown and to get over the idea that you have to control or maybe understand things. so i started presenting a more unique proposition... it will provide me with something new to ask back.

the stories are told through real emotional experience and were performed in the moments of their happening. it's my privilege to present you with this body of work. there's a world to discover within rhetorical what.
